The Anastasia by Maggie Sottero is quite the popular dress (click here and here and here to see real brides wearing it) and we're not surprised - it's the quintessential bridal look. The one piece slim a-line gown has a sweetheart neckline and a corset bodice. The gown is scattered with beading and Swarovski crystals atop three tiers of floaty organza. A view of the corset is after the jump.

crystal drop cake topperThis is a very simple, yet striking cake topper. Not your traditional bride and groom, nor even a monograph, these delectable crystals hang suspended and glittering over your cake, catching the eye as they catch the light.

These drops are sold in a set of nine. You can place them all in the top layer, as shown in the picture, or you could set them at varying levels on a tiered cake.

They would also be very simple to make. A light to moderate gauge of wire, a pair of wire cutters and needle-nose pliers, and a handful of crystals in your choice of colors and sizes, and a reasonably steady hand, and you could have a set of these made in less than half an hour. Stunning!

Attached with combs, pins, or actually attached to a hairpin, bridal vines are a lovely way to add glitter to your 'do. Hair vines are twisted lengths of fine wire decorated with Swarovski crystals, beads, pearls, or flowers. Because the wire is so fine, it can be shaped to suit any hairstyle. It can twine along the side of your head, it can wrap an updo, curl across the top of your hair, or add a touch of glitz to a demure French roll.

After the wedding, it can be used again, or re-purposed into a bracelet simply by wrapping it around your wrist, or into a necklace by adding a catch. For a touch of glittery natural beauty suited to any hair type, a hair vine is hard to beat!

This dress is from the 21st Century Princess collection by Henry Roth, and we have to agree - this is a dress fit for a modern princess. The voluminous skirt and smooth, fitted bodice are connected at the drop waist by three Swarovski crystal and gold beaded "belts."

The gold beading gives this dress a warmth that the more popular platinum simply can't muster. Your waist will be dripping in gold and crystals, the ultimate in luxury and decadence.

Wedding Bee discusses the merits of the bee-hive (think Audrey Hepburn, not Amy Winehouse), and includes a rockin' collage.

Bridezilla lists four honeymoon destinations that you've probably never considered, but maybe you should.

Bridalwave tells us why Vivienne Westwood, Be de Lisi, Jenny Packham, and Swarovski joined fashion forces.

And, here at AisleDash, we're showing you some gorgeous looks for your beachy honeymoon.
When it comes to bouquets, you've got so many choices that it might make your head spin. If you're going with flowers, what kind? And even if you won't be using flowers in your wedding decor, you've still got oodles of choices. Not to make your head spin even more, but we're going to show you just one more option that you have for bouquets.

The latest trend in non-floral bouquets is the crystal bouquet. They're sparkly, elegant, and won't make you sneeze. Designs made from Swarovski crystals are the most popular, and also most expensive. These bouquets will cost significantly more than a floral arrangement of the same size -- simpler bouquets start around $60, but the fancier ones can cost more like $500 each.

This website sells crystal bouquets with matching boutonnieres and corsages, and you can select the size and colors of each arrangement. The designs are not terribly complicated, but do look like they'd be time-consuming to create. Still, a crafty bride could probably save a fortune by purchasing supplies at a craft store and DIY-ing a bouquet like this.

Two years ago for Christmas my husband gave me a laptop. My mother-in-law was horrified; she kept asking, "Wouldn't you rather have a DIAMOND?" But I am a geek and I could not have been happier, or more in love with my husband.

And that is why I would have ADORED this uber-cool Jennifer Flume engagement ring: it's a USB flash drive contained in a Swarovsky crystal setting. Sadly, the ring is not yet available for purchase, but if you (or your beloved) is a tech geek, keep your eyes on this one; it could be the perfect proposal gift.

According to TFTS, the idea behind the ring is this: "each of you can carry around pictures of each other (or poems, credit card receipts, or whatever) which, once the rings are joined, can be transferred between both rings in an act of union. And, if you happen to want to transfer the contents of your ring (a phrase we really ought to avoided) to a PC you can do so thanks to a supplied necklace that sports a standard USB port, a mini USB port as well as two 'sharing ports'." There is also a necklace option, for those of you who like the idea but don't want to make a long-term commitment.

I love this -- but maybe that's just me. What say you -- is this the next big thing, or too geeky to even contemplate?

This tiara is from Tigerlilly's Midsummer Night's Dream collection. If you remember the story, you won't be surprised to know it's the Puck tiara, named after that famous mischievous sprite. Those are real leaves, preserved and hand-painted, with Swarovski crystal accents. You can choose the color of your crystals from a wide range of options.

It's a pretty, whimsical, fairy-tale touch to a spring or summer wedding.
Do I have the perfect pre-wedding get-together for you and your bridesmaids! It's fun, it's functional, it can take care of your gift to them, and it doesn't have to be terribly expensive. Drumroll, please ...

Make your own beaded jewelry with your bridesmaids! Ta da!

This isn't like when you went to summer camp as a kid and strung ugly beads on some fishing line. I'm talking about high quality beads (think Swarovski crystal and Kazuri beads, if you care to go high end) and beautiful detailed clasps and accessories. At the right establishment and with a little bit of assistance, you and your bridal party can create professional quality jewelry customized to each bridesmaid's dress and personal style, as well as bridal jewelry for yourself!

I love me some shoes. But, I really love me some SPARKLY shoes. And, if I get all the credit for said shoes looking so incredibly fabulous, I'm pretty sure I've just died and gone to shoe heaven!

Flaming Tulle brought to my attention a tutorial for Swarovski embellished shoes, which I think is BRILLIANT because, as much as I love fabulous sparkly shoes, I don't love the price tag that comes along with them. And, as Flaming Tulle points out, you could substitute any sparkly goody of your choice for pricey Swarovski crystals and get just the look you want.

Upon viewing the actual tutorial, I was fairly disappointed. The instructions pretty much consisted of:
